HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
We've had news that Johnny's project with JP Donleavy, THE GINGER MAN is finally moving forward. And we've also heard that "Pintel" will be returning for POTC5! I can't help but wonder who will be next?

How do you think YOU would have felt if you were in Lin's place? Would you have gone into war with Khader?

If I had been Lin.. after learning everything and for how long it had been going on.. I think I would have gotten a bit more angry about being manipulated. Oh definitely, I'd have been more angry. He did have the closest thing to freedom he could at that time.. so maybe that played a part in how he reacted & his choices. But being someones puppet.. it would have gotten to me. No, I wouldnt have gone into war. I know I was talking back to him while reading this part in the book... telling him not to go. Lin could have taken off and started new somewhere else. He had plenty of fake passports.. he had the money.. he could have.. but again.. this is another perfect example of Lin not able to say "no".

Oh boy I am so behind! But at least I am able to go on line now, I have been cut of for more than a week. It seems there is a curse for me that don't want me to end discussions at this wonderful group.

But back to the question:

I think I would be very angry and I don't think I would go to war, but then again I am not Lin and I do have a country that I can call my home. He hasn't at that point. Where would he go? I think he took the opportunity and maybe thought that something good could come out of this eventually
