Ooh ooh!! Red in The Sixth Sense. ('Course, the reason I remember this more vividly is 'coz I remember M. Night talking about it in the commentary). Hmm, I guess Red in The Village, too, come to think of it More as a plot device than an actual clue (that I can think of, anyway) in the latter, though.

Would it be From Hell? Whenever Abberline dreams of the murders, everything is red, which it would be with all that blood, but it stands out against a very grey, bleak London.

All I can think of is that it may be Edward Scissorhands, but thats only because I have ruled out all the others, I can't actually give a reasonable answer. Come on Teach, spit it out, enquiring minds need to know, and I came out of my corner especialy for this one!!

Well, it's now almost a non-thingy. I was thinking about the other M. Night connection with JD (other than the red in The Sixth Sense) and that little path lead me to JD's "mockumentary" with M Night which was filmed at THE CHATEAU MARMONT....................THE place for JD watching..........
