QUOTE (nurseanne8 @ Aug 12 2007, 08:19 PM)
I just finished" Elsewhere" by Gabrielle Zevin for teens or young adults quote from back cover: " How can fifteen-year old Liz let go of the only life she has ever known and embrace a new one? Is it possible that a life lived in reverse is no different from a life lived forward?" Liz is hit by a car and the book is about her adventures in the "after life" and it is not depressing. This author has another book due for release in Sept. titled "Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac". smile.gif

Thanks Anne,I'm compiling quite a list of books to read-------I'm now down to #29 on the wait list for Nineteen Minutes----

I just finished the Robbins' book Fierce Invalids so I need something now I can pick up and read without having to reread parts 3 times-lol!

I understand how she feels. I've been carrying these books with me everywhere I go. Can't put them down. I even read them while I'm cooking *L*

I was able to get my hands on Twilight and just after reading the preface I'm hooked! Can't wait to get further in-------

Possible plot spoiler....just more than you may want to know for now if you aren't past Chapter 20

I'm a bit concerned about Rosalie...they are on the run now. I rather like Carlisle and like that we have finally learned a bit about how they live. I adored the baseball game. I like Esme, Jasper and Alice.

What about you??

This is one of THE most facinating books that I've read in a long time.

I'm not as far as some of you, just finished Chpt. 14, but does anyone see this is a teen romance novel? I'm not being critical because it's difficult to put down, but as I was reading it, that thought crossed my mind---

It is a young adult novel. But as I read it, I share a lot of Bella's emotions. *S*

Opps you beat me to it Joanie! It is a YA novel, but it's pretty mesmerizing, well written and the story is driving me crazy. Now I've finished it and NEED New Moon. LOL There was nothing written like this when I was in my teens. LOL

I was talking to the sales person at Borders when I bought it and said that I'd seen the author on GMA. He said that ever since then the adult sales have taken over the teen sales. LOL He said now, it's mostly all adult women buying the series.

See, if Johnny were 20 years younger? I could see him playing another outcast in another "Edward"........
