There are a number of illustrations from Charles Baudelaire on this subject. Marilyn is referring to 'this giant skeleton thing', so maybe it's one of the drawings showing a skeleton with arms branching into a tree. This is the most intricate one I found:
Whichever it is, it's not a secret anymore that Johnny has a large tattoo on his back. I do hope we get to see it some day.

Thanks for the added info on the tattoo JDLady--yes, it did mention a skeleton, so the one you posted could be similar to the actual tattoo---sure hope we get to see it!

I have a book of all of Baudelaire's works... I will have to ck this out when I get home tonight.... Interesting.
The illustration is quite detailed, I would guess this tat is quite large.

Humiliated-grape, do you know if there is a clear pic of that tat? Maybe it is this one....I've seen pics of it, but they weren't clear. It very well could be that one!

This pic is the clearest I can find, from when he was signing autographs in Creede. But as you can see, its not all visible. The part I can see looks like it could be the top part of the flower. Just a thought anyway...
