I was very excited to find out today that A Long Way Down is set to launch at Sundance, and hopefully get a wide release this year (and become a sleeper hit?!). I am thrilled to see Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul cast as J. J.! I am posting this from my dumbphone, so links are not possible, but I was anxious to share the "news" (probably old). I will add links when I can unless someone beats me to it. I like the movie poster.

Thanks so much amp for posting this; loved this book & it's too bad Johnny wasn't involved. Here's a link to a trailer & some info. It doesn't seem to have a US release date yet....

I loved the book too and like y'all, I am still disappointed that Johnny wasn't able to be involved. BUT I am way excited that the film is opening! Hopefully it'll get a US release date soon!

This has been a long time coming!

Thanks Donna for the link!!

For those who weren't around back in 2005, I was able to visit with author Nick Hornby, here's what he had to say to us: http://johnnydeppreads.com/index.php?showtopic=3
