A series of 12 books authored by Terry Goodkind.

These are fantasy novels, which is not really something I'm normally drawn to.

I've come to this series late, through a friend, but have found them to be insanely addictive.

I never read Tolkein's LOTR books until I was in my 30's, and although I thought they were well written, they didn't emotionally impact me.

The SoT series has reached out and grabbed me. I highly recommend them for a good story-telling read.

No, they're not high literature. In the manner of Stephen King, the characters are easily empathetic, well-fleshed out, with a story-line that is immediately gripping.

You're not going to tax your brain too much with these books, but they're a fun, enchanting read.

In my humble opinion. ninja.gif
