My son, John, got me good. My car died this morning, so I had it towed to my mechanic, Jerry. I talked to John earlier in the day and complained about my car. He called Jerry and told Jerry to call me and tell me I needed a new engine because I ran all the oil out of my car. He was believable. I was almost in tears until Jerry told me that it really only needed a tune up. Then he told me to make sure I got mad at John and not him. I'm plotting my revenge on both of them! LOL

I managed not to get "gotten" today, unless you count my ST video not arriving as promised.
Unfortunately for a man I work with, a process server showed up 3 times today at our office to serve some kind of papers on him. His assistant called his cell phone and left a voice mail for him, but he thinks it's an April Fool's joke. Sadly, it's not. The President of our company met with the process server the third time he showed up to explain that our loan officers, although employees, are not required to come into the office every day.
How do you convince someone that something isn't an April Fool's joke when it happens on April 1st? I feel for him.

I hate April 1 Fools Day. I am glad it is over here in Germany.

I have to go back tomorrow to be interviewed for a jury---not looking forward to this, but usually, it's only one day unless you're picked for a trial.....2 months-wow! Everyday?

It's for the Federal court. You are summoned for 2 months at a time. Every Friday you have to check in to see if your juror number is picked. If you are, every Monday you report in for service. Even if you are picked the first week for service you still have to serve the full 2 months....
I wonder how many trials you could have to serve on?????
