Perrrrfect!! You have such talent! I dabble in drawing once in a while and think I need to hang up my pencils. Just kidding. I love it too much, good or bad results. Thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful work with us. And I aggree with the others when they say "the EYES". They are incredible. You have captured all that Sweeney was (is ?) So haunted they are. YOU ROCK !!

I agree with all of the above but I also think you have captured the mouth (it speaks for itself). He uses the mouth so well in his expressions and you have captured that also.

Well yes, the EYES. What can I say? It was wonderful to study those mystic dark pools so closely.
Deckhand, I'm glad you mention the mouth. Everyone is so mesmerised by his eyes (and rightly so), but the mouth was a part I payed special attention to as well. It is really tricky to capture the typical Sweeney sourness of it. This was only my second Johnny drawing, but I already noticed a weird thing: what does he do with his chin? I can't explain it, but I swear, Johnny performs chin acting.
It may take some time, but this was certainly not my last go at capturing his Johnnyness.

Absolutely amazing Whiteling!!! You have such a talent at capturing the detail of that character!! From just his hair to those EYES .. the nose.. the chin.
I imagine it is something for you to watch something come alive on paper as you start to draw and get further and further into it.
Thank you for sharing.. and please dont stop.. I love seeing your work.
