This is being built atop a parking structure on the Disney Burbank lot. Not sure why this is being built, but it is. LOL Could be reshoots, could be for promos and ads........who know?

I think they are using that for promotional purposes from what some of my Cast Member friends at the Studios told me. We shall have to wait and see. That is a great photo. Thank you forsharing that with us!

Just watch out for Disney Security! Years ago I was out in Burbank with my parents, and we parked across the street from the entrance. My dad wanted to get a pic of the building with the Seven Dwarfs "holding" up the building, and we were just standing on the sidewalk by the entrance. Disney Security freaked out and told us we had to leave ASAP. Anyway, hope you are successful with catching some pictures if you can! :)

At KTTC....Ms Bishop said it looked like they were doing night shoots there on Friday night.

Not sure about the ranch but as mentioned in an earlier thread they are filming at the Burbank studios---the parking structure has a mock up of what looks like the Black Pearl and one of the outdoor parking lots had a huge blue screen in one corner with some one standing on what looked like the mast of a ship. If you drove on the 134 FWY on Friday night you would have seen the bright lights in the parking lot---but only seen the back of the blue screen.

Yes, thanks for the info. I did attempt to make it out to Burbank on Saturday but the 101 in that direction was something of a parking lot from about the valley end south. Since I was on a time crunch, I had to abort my mission to get to Disney studios and go back home. If anyone lives closer to Burbank, they might have better traffic luck than I did.

Its been a while sense anyone posted on this thread so I hope you get to read this. While I was talking to someone at Disney Resort, he said he had gone by the studios. He was told that they were doing some shots and sometimes it happens that something could be a little off or loose ends neeed to be tied up, to maybe clarify a scene because it didn't make sense. There you have it.

Thanks for the info Redheadpirate, I think that is roughly what we thought this may be about. It's a shame we haven't got more pictures of it. Ho hum.

:welcome to :jdr Redheadpirate! Yup, as Anne said that's about what we figured, fill in shots. And I was told that there was more "fill in" type of filming going on over at Disney Burbank within the last couple of weeks. Interesting how this business works innit? Welcome aboard!!
