The gentleman at the gallery said that last night was a private event and they sold a lot of pieces. He also told us that this is the first time this work is here in the US. Hours 1- 4pm M - F, Sat. by appt only...
As you can see, Johnny's name is quite prominently displayed in the gallery window, that alone should bring some people in.

Johnny Depp Introduces French Artist : Gravleur
West Hollywood, CA - Johnny Depp, a longtime associate of art dealer Trigg Ison, became enamored with the original paintings of contemporary French artist Gravleur. The paintings of Gravleur, are executed in bold shades of white and black, are strong and defining images of people, with particular emphasis on the face.
Mr.Depp desired to bring Gravleur to America and introduce the artist and his paintings to the American art community. This began a collaboration between Johnny Depp, Trigg Ison, and artist Gravleur that has culminated in the American Premiere Exhibition of the art of Gravleur, opening June 2 - June 20, 2006.
