Martin Grove had an interesting commentary / interview with Gibney in yesterday's Hollywood Reporter. There's nothing terribly new but Gibney explains his approach and says how critical JD was to the film.

Anita Thompson is once again on the rampage about any slurs to HST's name. Here's a link to her blog addressing her displeasure about parts of the Gonzo film:

I wish I didn't have such a cynical reaction to her words. I'll leave it at that.

We have an accord.

Just got back from seeing the Alex Gibney film here in Eugene. I really enjoyed it, even though parts of it are hard to watch/listen to. HST was an American hero, with human flaws. His razor sharp insight and writings about our political system are still valid today. I hope the young folks out there go and see this movie, read his books, and look beyond his flamboyance to see his brilliance. The sound track is great, too. Nemosfriend
