There's a blurb at the bottom of his column about Melvin Purvis (his son comments about his father) that the cast party was moved to Gibson's...interesting.

Hmmm sounds like there may have been two parties that night. ;)

Well, with HNT's comment about 90% of the line outside the original place were not involved with the movie, it makes sense they moved it. ;)

That is a really neat article on Purvis. It's interesting that Bale met with Alston Purvis around the anniversary of Melvin Purvis' death. In fact, I find it interesting that some of the filming dates were done on exact dates as Dillinger events.
