Hiya everyone!

I'm Moonlight (or Charli) from Austria. Yesterday I turned 16 and I've been admiring Johnny for almost 4 years. The first movie I saw him in was, guess what, Pirates I. I have to admit, at that time I was a huge fan of Brad Pitt, however, when I saw Johnny as Capt. Jack Sparrow for the first time, on th sinking boat, I was thinking: WOW! I was speechless. This guy looked to cool and I also really loved his performance. I had a look on the cover of the DVD, and so it was that I first got aware of the name Johnny Depp. I only later realised that I had already heard this name before and already seen a Johnny movie as well - Edward Scissorhands when I was 6 or 7 yo. (I knew this name sounded familiar to me. :huh: )
Anyhow, it took me another year to become what you could call a fan, although from my first POTC viewing on I began to get interested in Johnny and whenever I'd spot his name in a newspaper, I'd read through the article and things like that.
And one after the other, the Brad Pitt posters came off my wall and by summer 2005 I was obsessed with everything Johnny. Brad Pitt? Who's he? I also bought my first huge Johnny poster, that beautiful b/w one everyone knows, which I framed in a wonderful gallery frame.
I got to know more and more of Johnny's movies and it became clear to me his acting was outstanding to so many of his generation, not to mention that he was dead handsome and had a beautiful, melodical voice which I really loved.

Well, that's how I became a fan and nowadays I'm so obsessed with Johnny. It's like an illness you can't get rid off. And don't want to. There's no vaxine and that's how it's gotta be! I adire Johnny and love that he's such a humble, kind anc cheerfull human being, with a good sense of humour and so personable. His eyes sparkle and his smile is adorable. It knocks me down, really. In thought, I so often send him a big THANK YOU for everything he's done, for being the one he is.
So, anyhow, that's why I'm here. I want to share my passion with as lots of people who think the same as me as possible. This is not the first Johnny board I joined, though. I'm also a member of the JDZ and of 2 German boards and I'm glad I am cause I've met so many nice people through them.

What else is there to say? Besides Johnny, my greatest passion is music. The best thing in the world for me is music. I espacially love Blues music and rock'n'roll and that stuff, my favurite band is the Rolling Stones and my favourite solo musician is Keith Richards, as I think you can see by my signature. ;) I don't like most of today's modern music. "modern "crap" music" as Keith once called it.
I'm more for the good ol' essentials. :crybaby :thumbsup
I also play the guitar and the piano and I sing. And currently I'm writing a song about Johnny, btw.

I also love going to the movies and having fun with my friends.

:welcome, Moonlight. It's amazing how this thing called the internet can bring people with a common interest together from all over the world. I too have that illness known as Deppitis and I'm hoping they never find the cure. ;)
