Contactmusic.com claims it is confirmed as of May 14, 2008. We'll see if it really happens:

JOHNNY DEPP's girlfriend, VANESSA PARADIS, is to become the new face of MIU MIU.
Bosses at the Prada fashion house, who own the Miu Miu brand, has confirmed the French singer/actress will replace Kirsten Dunst as their spokesmodel for the 2008 and 2009.
Vanessa Paradis, who has been a Chanel model for several years, has now signed a contract with Prada for an undisclosed amount.

It was confirmed in Womens Wear Daily a couple days ago. That's about as official, I think, as a film commitment would be in Variety or THR. I posted about it in the Chanel thread but it certainly deserves its own thread!

I'm not sure if that's a new pic---for some reason I think I've seen it before this announcement. I know she did a radio interview I believe around the time of either her concert tour or around the time of her music award......I'll try to check. I think the info. is correct as it's been published on reputable sites.
