jeppody - May 2, 2008 11:31 PM (GMT)
It appears that the Japanese dvd of Inside The Actors Studio has the extras that we were originally expecting on the US and UK version.
http://www.dailymotion.com/relevance/searc...Bdepp%2BspecialThere are 4 parts totalling 17 minutes. Part 1 is on Page two. woohoo

Thank you so much for posting this Anne!
If possible, my favorite interview got even better! woohoo
The tunnel digging part was funny but I cringed just thinking about Johnny's beautiful face on fire!

Minxie, I'm not seeing it either. Although there are a couple of Johnny related items on the first page, none are Inside the Actors Studio related and the second page has nothing to do with Johnny.

Not to change the subject to much. I ordered ITAS from Amazon. It said it was dated 2002. Do you all remember when we pre ordered one and were never sent?Is this the same one or is there another? Yah, there is. How do I get it, can I?
herestoyou - May 3, 2008 10:49 PM (GMT)
It's the same one.......

Did someone got a chance to save them maybe?
Johnnygirl23 - May 4, 2008 10:49 AM (GMT)
Nope. :( I wish I could have seen them also.
jeppody - May 4, 2008 11:45 AM (GMT)
Please take note!!
Even if somebody did save them, because of copyright law, we cannot have the clips on JDR. Sorry folks :(
But keep your eyes peeled as they may turn up again on Youtube or similar. :crossfingers A link to those clips is acceptable here, just like I linked to Daily Motion.
If we keep to the code, hopefully we won't get into trouble. :thumbsup
Thanks

:thanks Anne. Add this info to the list of reasons why life seems unfair.
JohnnyDeppLover - May 5, 2008 08:35 AM (GMT)
Maybe when Pierrot has the DVD maybe she can upload the extras for JDR then? :D

I'm sorry, I just want to see it you know but I'm probably not the only one.
carpediem - June 11, 2008 01:23 AM (GMT)
I noticed that some of the new clips are now on You Tube.
I still haven't been able to confirm that Amazon's version is the full-length version so I guess I'll have to buy a copy directly from Bravo.
herestoyou - June 11, 2008 01:25 AM (GMT)
Wait carpediem--I've read that someone ordered one from Bravo and it came without the extras even though it was advertised on their site----be very careful!
-Donna
carpediem - June 11, 2008 04:54 AM (GMT)
Good point. The listing I saw on Amazon said 50 minutes in one location and 90 minutes in another location on the page. What are they playing at? I can't figure it out.
herestoyou - June 11, 2008 05:16 AM (GMT)
Way back when I ordered mine from Shout Factory as they listed the extras and then it arrived and was only the 50 minute version----I kept it because at the time I didn't know there actually was a longer version that would be released overseas. They did give me some credit as it was cheaper on amazon. Recently I"ve read that the one advertised on Bravo is only the 50 minute version even though the site advertises the extras.......it's very frustrating!

Okay, now this may be a stupid question and I'm probably missing the logic here, but I'm going to ask it anyway.
Since the DVD isn't available in the states, is there anyway to order it from overseas? I realize it may cost a bit more, but it's worth it, right? :P
herestoyou - June 11, 2008 06:06 AM (GMT)
I'm sure you can order it from overseas, but it will be Region 2 and you need to have a DVD player that can play that region. There are DVD multiregion players,(I don't own one) so then it would work. Most DVDs in the US are Region 1........
-Donna
Christine M - June 11, 2008 06:29 AM (GMT)
Thanks Donna. That is a bummer!! :(
Here's another question for you or anyone. :shistle Is there a reason why the foreign one is different from the U.S. one?
jeppody - June 11, 2008 06:37 AM (GMT)
I can answer that one for you Christine. It all depends on which studio is releasing the dvd as to what is on it. The US version has Shout! Factory as the studio, the UK version has Ilc Media. It happens all the time. Different studios released The Libertine, and I ended up buying both Regions 1&2 as the Uk version does not have all the extras. It is very, very frustrating. :banghead

Thank you Anne x for explaining that to me.
