Not budget, there's plenty of money. A lot of things can cause schedule changes as their whole focus is to make a good movie. lol

Adding my soapbox moment here too...I just think we've all forgotten this.. ;)

I know we all have a great time keeping up with the filming and if anyone is trying to get on location and are getting frustrated with the lack of schedules, please remember that first and foremost Universal's job is to make a good movie.
Not fit into people's vacation time or to accomdate fans. So I hope we can cut them some slack and still have fun following the filming news and maybe spotting a star here and there. But we want a good movie too and a stress free environment for them all. woohoo

Good point Karen--you take a chance whenever you try to see filming of a movie as the schedules can/will change on a moment's notice. It's just like meeting Johnny---I would always go with the hope of maybe catching a glimpse of him, but not count on actually meeting him. If it happens, great, if not, maybe another time.

I think it really had alot to do with the weather...
We have had such crazy weather this Spring...
One day it is 70' and the next rain mix with snow and 35'.
And up at Little Bo it was snowing more there, so they probably had to wait some out..
This past week and a half it has been lot's of rain and storms.
So if filming was for the great outdoor's that surely would put a hold on filming...
I sure hope this week is better...
I want to go hang in Columbus..

You are absolutely right Karen. I know a lot of it for me now is much more than the hopes of seeing Johnny Depp or other stars or any filming. I am very much looking forward to meeting up with my new friends. All the rest is bonus! :D

Great point Karen. I went into this whole experience with no expectations and let me tell you, I have come out of it with much more than I ever dreamed imaginable. I hope that Universal feels the same way in the end. They have been more than accomidating through this whole process so the least we can do is understand that this how it goes :)

I'm confuzzled with the dates for Columbus/Beaver Dam. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'd love to take a day and go up there, but wish the schedule was more specific: 5th, 6th or 7th?

Rod is now saying next week if you read the last bit of comments on his blog today.

I am just a little frustrated because I got the OK to pull Evan the entire day from school THIS Wednesday.

And the Deppinger gang dodges the FAN-B-I once again......

I think it might be easier to go "snipe" hunting!!! :P

I feel for those of you who are taking vacation days from work, or like Osh, taking the kids out of school.... I can only imagine how frustrating that the changes would be.

I guess the good news is that the filming WILL still be in Columbus at some point.

Well, I can always put him back in school...the good thing is his teachers are really cool about all of this PE "stuff" and they know how much it means to Evan.

Adam is a pretty reliable source and had spoken with a friend of mine today also about next week being a go... for now :)

As we've seen, things are in constant flux with this film, so we'll just have to wait and see. If they aren't filming in Columbus/BDam this week, then where are they filmng the rest of the week? B) Keep a :captain for lots of trailers moving around somehere.*L*

That makes sense.
I do think that Columbus would be a safe bet..
There would be people all over the place.
And I don't think these people on here would do anything crazy like that.

Better to safe than sorry. While Columbus is a smaller town and a lot of people are around, just keep your guard out. I have been very lucky so far but the excitement of these events have given me some lapses in judgement.
