So here I am...I am almost 40 and the mom of a wonderful (of course) and exhausting 14 year old, Evan. (he was diagnosed with autism/Asperger's at 3) I was a single mom for 11 years, now married for 3 and it is proving to be a challenge, but I am in for the long haul. I keep a blog that chronicles my day to day life and battle with depression/bi-polar and trying to navigate what I think being a wife and mother means. Before being a SAHM I worked a lot with disabled adults and children in the workforce and in Early Childhood. My goal is to be a Hospice Volunteer once home gets balanced.

I came to JDR by invitation of Karen after Evan and I had our Johnny Moment while he was in Oshkosh filming Public Enemies.
