He seems very pleased with all the details he's seen from the filmmakers so far. I'm glad they're making something he approves of---too many times authors are disappointed and bitter about any tiny deviation from their published work. He mentions that the filmmakers have not just drawn on information from his book for the content, but have used others as well, but he is impressed to see how many lines straight from his book have made it into the movie.

This is so true. It is refreshing to know that a producer takes so much care in following the historical accuracy of the story, which Mr. Burrough spent years of research on.
It's an honor to the producer and the actors when a writer is pleased with a film being made from their book and a compliment to the author when the script follows the storyline of the book.
It's a win all for everyone.
