Do you think the premier will be in Chicago ?

Summer blockbuster, ok!!! It makes sense with $150(?) million invested (per that extra who was interviewed online) that they would want timing that would give them the biggest return. I know where I'll be!

However will we last that long. . .

That's great Karen but it seems a long time to wait. It will be released just after Johnny's 46th birthday. Anyway, lets let him have his 45th first lol. I only need a couple more of his movies and my collection will be complete. I will keep watching them until "Public Enemies" is released.

OMG, that is to far away a whole year after they finish filming. :( I want them to do it right but I quess I never watched the actual filming before so I didn't realize how long it took before the release. I thought it was usually six months...not this time. I am going to start right now to plan on attending the premier. Thank you for this information.

With all that time in post-production, it should be one humdinger of a summer blockbuster, and finally one my hubby might actually like.

I think it varies greatly from one project to another. Apples and Oranges, mate.

OK, assuming my birdie was right, we need to remember that there are "seasons" for film releases. First of the year films are generally not always terrific movies. Spring films? Enjoyable, nice movies. Summer blockbusters and holiday releases are usually expected to really do well and often get award nominations. So it's better for them to hold the movie for a really good, high profile summer release date. Savvy? ( At least that's my take on it. )

Karen . I am still interested in knowing where you thing the premier will be in the US. Any ideals ?

Any premiere is about a year away. Let's please wait, they have barely finished filming. lol
