My neighbor who went with us to the Chicago casting call was just called today to be an extra in the Aurora filming. She has to go downtown tomorrow for a hair cut. They told her she would be playing an "upscale woman" for one shoot. The also told her she would be another scene at the theatre. She is over the moon!! They said her shoots will be on the 31st, 3, and 5th. They also called her on her cell phone-not home. Oh, I am still hoping for a call!!!! I'll let you know what happens!!! woohoo woohoo woohoo

I'm not sure if all 3 days are in Aurora. She said they were very careful with the information they were giving her. She asked the name of the place where she was to cut her hair and they only gave her the address and told her to google it. :huh: They said they would give her times tomorrow. I heard they called some other extras as late as 10 pm-I just want my kids to get it, but I'm not sure if there would be any place for them in the film-who knows! In the C.P filming, there were only 3 woman extras and loads of men, no kids. We will see!

Wow, cpgal, congrats to your neighbor :thumbsup ! I hope you get a call too. I went to the casting call in Chicago, but don't really expect to get picked. They were saying they didn't want any woman who wore larger than a size 12 and now for the casting call they posted for Aurora, they said they didn't want any women over a size 10! I barely made the first criteria; for sure won't make the latter.

I did notice that when I was given the number to hold up for the picture, the girl just wrote down my cell number on the slip. I've been keeping my cell phone on longer than I usually do just in case and have even been answering 800 phone calls and out-of-area calls I've been receiving at home which I normally don't do. ;)

I'm so glad to see they are using so many local people as extras tho. How lucky those chosen are!
