I think I can see Johnny's touch there, as this is a very finely done video, and I like he's used a 1920s - 30s theme...you get the feeling of a speak easy setting...wonder if there was a Dillinger inspired idea here? It's sure a lot different than anything else I've seen of hers. ;)

I think it is Johnny too...some of the looks Vanessa gives are so intimate that you can see she is connecting with someone she loves. She is singing and moving to her man....its just so sensual.

What hit me most about the video is just how prolific these two are with their lives. Successful marriage/family, careers, special projects, time for fans and media....they are just always creating. I admire how rich and full their lives are and the joy of what they are doing together and separately, shows in their work. Its a sign of a lovely and supportive home life to be that productive...no woes stopping you. They are out their making life happen together and I do not feel they are compromising their most important creation, their family. I am so very impressed with their offerings and get a lot of joy in experiencing their work. My 2-cents worth....I tip my hat in their direction! :thumbsup

Jae, I agree with you. I think that is what makes the video so special. When I first watched it I thought she was being quite playful/teasing with the way she moved and looked at the gentleman in the video. I don't think the chemistry would be so obvious if it would be anyone but Johnny.

And she's such a graceful woman. Her movements seem to have a natural fluidity.

Even though I don't understand the language I think I may become a fan of her work also. I don't even know how many times I've watched the "Pourtant" video - everything about it captures me.

I really like her newer music more than the older Bliss. Its sexier and softer, and doesn't grind as much.
