I just read on the jdz that Lili Taylor will be playing Sheriff Lillian Holley, someone read it on imbd.

Isn't she in the Gillian movie that Johnny just filmed in Vancouver? If I'm wrong, please correct me or delete this. No hurt feelings, no harm meant.

Glad to read that Johnny stands up to Jerry because some celebs just let the security have the last word when it comes to having contact with their fans. I know that it's Jerry's job to protect Johnny but it sounds like he just a bit too pushy. He should know by now you don't come between Johnny and his fans. Thanks for the updates Karen.

CROWN POINT | Hollywood could roll into Crown Point as early as Saturday, according to an agreement between the city and Universal Studios signed at a special Board of Works meeting Thursday morning.

Mayor David Uran said the agreement states that the city is willing and prepared to provide services if a movie "might be coming to our city." Services could include public safety and services such as road closures.

Universal Studios is reportedly preparing to film portions of the movie "Public Enemies" in Crown Point next week, but a publicist for the movie said he could not confirm specific days or locations. The movie stars Johnny Depp as John Dillinger, the bank robber who escaped from the Lake County Jail and drove away in the sheriff's car in 1934.

The city/studio agreement begins Saturday and continues through the week. It also includes a fee schedule from the studio to the city for reimbursement for staff and city-owned properties used.

City Attorney David Nicholls said Thursday the city wasn't allowed to disperse a copy of the agreement for public viewing at this time.

And I've got to wonder how stressful this shoot is for Jerry...? I mean, isn't this the first time (or the first time in a long time) that Johnny's been involved in a film that's shot exclusively on location? That's got to be tough, security-wise. It's not like simply chaperoning your boss along the red carpet or making sure he gets to and from the studio in one piece. The hours are long on this one and the need is greater than usual to always be on guard. It could be taking a bit of a toll on Jerry.

However, it looks like JD is having a ball!! He gets so rejuvenated by his fans!

I just LOVE hearing reports like this about Johnny! I think you're all correct--Johnny gets energy from his fans----wouldn't you if crowds were cheering and calling your name after you filmed a brief scene? Plus, for these people to stand out in those cold temperatures---wow, I'm sure Johnny appreciates that as well.

I also think Johnny/Jerry have been together long enough to know how each other works. Maybe Jerry starts telling Johnny it's time to go about an hour before they really need to leave knowing how dedicated Johnny is with his fans-lol!

I know Jerry comes off as crabby to lots of people, but I am really glad he is there and always only a couple of steps away from Johnny. And I'm pretty sure Johnny and Jerry work well together and certainly respect each other, but in the end Jerry knows Johnny's the boss and humors him unless he feels there is a real danger. Thanks Jerry, we appreciate you.
