I've just heard from Rod (aka Grinder) that Johnny WAS signing autographs tonight. Bless his little heart! That's *our* Johnny! Thanks Rod for the news!

I do kind of feel like he's "our" Johnny sometimes when I'm on this board. Nice of us to share him with everybody else, isn't it? :lol:

Everytime I see a picture of Johnny w/ his fans, I honestly get all warm inside. I have teared up afew times I must confess. He truly exudes beauty fromthe inside out!!

Oh what beautiful pictures. :) Another proof of what a beautiful person Johnny is, inside and out. Other people would have gone home as quickly as possible after a long day of working, but Johnny still takes a couple of minutes to be with his fans. Bless him. In my opinion there's definitely no-one like him. :wub:

Johnny also greeted fans in Darlington last night after shooting. Apparently there were no photos - wrong, I meant no autographs allowed and Jerry asked that small children be positioned in front as Johnny loves them (this from 'BettySue' on the Zone who was there). FAN thank you for that great link--what great pics there! I'm so glad the folks in Darlington were able to get some autographs with Johnny today, too. Doesn't his face just light up when he's around kids? Love it! :D

Yes, and I also thinks it's because he's clean shaven--even with the small amount of facial hair Johnny had, once it's gone, he loses about 10 years! I must say, I'm loving the hair, too! :)

I was there Tuesday and I have a lot of video on my camcorder of Johnny signing, I just have to figure out how to upload it to my computer and post it! I am out of town for Easter, but when I get home I will figure it out and let you all know. I do have a photo of that little boy that was dressed as Cap. Jack on my Flickr, and he was adorable. Johnny signed his sword and got a kick out of him!

How it all went down is that there were maybe 50 of us at base camp and an old car drove up. No one paid much attention because many of those cars were driving around and Johnny usually showed up in his black SUV. I took a photo and realized it was Johnny, so I positioned myself where I thought would be a good photo spot based on what happened the night before (he waved to the crowd as they drove out). A security guard approached the group and said that if everyone remains calm and lines up in a single file line, Johnny will come out for 15 minutes and sign autographs. We all lined up. I think it would have remained a smaller group, but the line went around the corner a little bit. Once it was obvious that we were lined up for something, the line grew exponentially. I am sure there must have been 200 people in line by the time they cut it off. Like I mentioned in my other post, Johnny was wonderful and gave everyone one on one acknowledgement. I didn't see this myself because I was early in the line, but the guard kept trying to get Johnny to stop signing and he said "no, these are my fans" and kept going. Sorry if I am repeating details that have already been posted, by the way. I just thought I would share my account of the evening. :)
