I haven't seen a thread like this one, so I hope it's okay to post this here. Otherwise mods please remove.
I just stumbled upon these pics of Marion Cotillard trying on a costume for Public Enemies. I thought you might like to see them too. I think they must have been taken some days after her Oscar win.

Hmmm. the fashions are a wee bit short for the 1930's I think. I wonder where they are going with this if it is indeed for PE.

I must say that that's what occured to me too, when I first saw the pics. On the other hand I gotta admit that I don't really know a lot about the fashion design from that period.

Thanks for wanting to share those pics, but I don't think that those are the costumes. I think that may have been what she wore that day to or for a costume fitting. And yes, I think that was about Oscar time, around the nominee luncheon I think.

Mhh...I guess that makes sense. Though I think it's weird that first she's wearing "normal" clothes and then she's all of a sudden all dressed up. But on the other hand it could have might as well been for a different event and the homepage I found these pics on just got it wrong. Who knows. I guess we'll see once the movie comes out! ;)
In that case, sorry for the confusion I might have caused with these pics.

It's OK Amy! I guess time will tell about those pics, but as careful as they are being to get the right 1930's period look in the city, that outfit sure isn't 1930s. LOL
