Title: PE #10 What scene are you looking forward to!

Karen - March 12, 2008 12:53 PM (GMT)
We touched on this one in a couple of questions so here we go!

What scene(s) are you most looking forward to seeing??

Which one are you not looking forward to?

Why?

Been waiting to see if you'd include something like this. woohoo

Where Dillinger gives the man in the bank back his money, dancing with Billie, with his family, the whole little Bohemia scene.

Don't want to see him get shot. :(

Any scene with Billie, the bank heists, and Little Bohemia are the ones for me. I don't mind the "action" parts, I just don't want it to be all action and no "character" story. From what I've read/heard, it seems like it will be a nice mix of both. I'll be interested in seeing how much "stunt" work Johnny will do in the film---after the POTC series, I think he can handle the PE stuff!

I agree with HeidiG---seeing Dillinger get shot will be hard to watch so it won't be my "favorite" scene, just like seeing Sweeney's end, but I'm sure it will be very interesting to see it on film.

Oh, I almost forgot---really want to see Johnny dancing the Carioca dance a la Fred Astaire, with Billie-lol!(Great stunt work there)

My list of favorites is the same as the two previous posts and seeing Dillinger's death will not be my favorite either. Anne r

I have to agree about seeing them dance as one of the scenes I am looking forward to seeing.

And the scene like everyone else has said that I am not looking forward to is when Dillinger gets shot.

I think it sounds like we are looking forward to a lot of the same scenes. I sure hope they include at least one scene with his dad, that could really be something special.

I agree Karen---I think that "return home to family" could be very moving---similar to the ones in BLOW?

Sure could be Donna. When audiences know the ending, I think we tend to pay more attention or be emotionally moved a bit more. I think we sometimes put ourselves in their places and try to understand what the family members are feeling. I thnk this will be a much tougher film to watch than ST. Emotionally anyway for me.

No ones talked about Bonnie & Clyde. I'm wondering if they are going to be in the movie? I hope so becuase I want to see what Mann will do with them after what the author's said about them. It'll be cool to compare the B&C from the old movie and this one.

herestoyou - March 14, 2008 01:37 AM (GMT)
I don't know for sure HeidiG, but I have a feeling that B&C won't be in PE---maybe a reference to them, but I don't think we've heard about any casting. It could be that it would just be too many characters to adequately cover in the film----

Donna I agree with you I do not expect B/C to be in the film.

Ellen - March 30, 2008 07:10 PM (GMT)
Escaping from Crown Point, Little Bohemia and the transformation of Dillinger's face after his surgery. I'd love to see a before and after pic, side by side.

Karen - April 3, 2008 01:33 AM (GMT)
Side by side pics will be interesting Ellen.

And now that we are getting some idea of what will make it into the film (not looking too good for Bonnie and Clyde) I really want to see the Sioux Falls getaway. Where Van Meter told everyone they would be shooting a movie with a bank robbery in it...and everyone believed it! This should be what's filmed in Oshkosh, according to what they are saying.

I have read rumors of a scene where JD washes Billie's hair...I get goose bumps just typing this.

Why do scenes from "Out of Africa" come to mind??? woohoo

Kazren - May 10, 2008 02:12 PM (GMT)
Hi. I think I'd like to see the prison break where Dillinger conned the guard with his hand-carved gun, and of course some romantic scenes. Also the escape from Little Bohemia comes to mind, having to leave the ladies behind must have been dramatic for them. I imagine we'll get a big kiss good-bye in that scene!

Ok, if that's true then...... :thud Even though I'm looking forward to the shoot out scenes/escapes, I wouldn't mind see Billie/Dillinger's love interest played up... :shistle

OMG, that sounds much more intimate than a lot of love scenes... :thud

GREAT QUESTION!

Other than just waiting for the whole movie?? Hmmm....I guess I really want to see the scenes I was able to watch, sort of. Base camp was across the street! So the coasroom scene and a car chase!!! (I was able to catch a pic of Johnny with a make-up scar when he came out! I can try and post soon!) I guess the dancing scene and there is a part somewhere where there are a few hobos around that my friend almost made it!

No scene I don't want to see!

YAY PUBLIC ENEMIES!!!!!
