WARNING!

These clips contain film showing the dead bodies of Dillinger and others.

OK, if you get past the photography of dead bodies, then these are amazing news reel clips of what they said about Dillinger, Pretty Boy Floyd, Machine Gun Kelly....

Mega thanks to NurseAnne for finding these!

That was really interesting Karen. Thanks to NurseAnne for finding these. Dead bodies really don't bother me so I had no trouble watching it. I'm sure that the Biography Channel will run these again. They would be worth watching.

Well, he may have been America's most wanted but in that one clip of him smirking, you can see how very charismatic he was.
Nice find NurseAnne!
And thanks for the warning Karen. I'm not particularly fond of looking at dead bodies!

These are great clips. Thanks for finding them NurseAnne, and thanks for sharing them with us Karen.

If you have trouble with dead bodies, just pretend you are watching an episode of CSI, that's what I did.

The Bonnie and Clyde clip that shows the car...and distance views of their bodies is amazing too. All those guns, and all those bullet holes. Crikey!!

Great clips-- :thanks Nurseanne! These criminals enjoyed the notoriety which fed into their egos. especially Dillinger and BFN. Given the economic times, they might have felt like this was all they could do to make their way in the world. I'm not excusing their actions, especially the killings, but what would they have amounted to given many of their poor backgrounds? I think once they got the taste of "easy money", and saw how easily they got away with it, they didn't see any other life style.
