Anne Rice appeared during the last 20 minutes on today's Good Morning America to discuss her new book, Christ the Lord: The Road to Cana.

When asked should the book develop into a film, she said,

"I think Johnny Depp would be absolutely fantastic in the role of Jesus Christ. I think anyone who has seen the full range of what Johnny Depp can do........"

Not sure how I feel about this, but it was interesting nevertheless!

There would be alot of um... controversy with that kind of role. :unsure:
