I remember that year so well. Joan and Melissa Rivers were working the red carpet for E! They, of course, hated Johnny's look (they must truly be blind) and squirmed when they announced that online voters on E! chose Johnny as best dressed. It was very funny. I think the only time I've ever really disliked how Johnny looked was at the 2005 Oscars. His suit was horrid and poorly made, puckered seams and all. Johnny himself was in deep mourning for Hunter and looked it, poor baby.

Oh I loved Johnny's look that year--remember how surprised everyone was? I think right before that he had the Secret Window type haircut so when he first came onto the red carpet I didn't even recognize him----all I could say was WOW! Then to have his "gals" surrounding him, how special. I know what you mean FAN about his 2005 outfit, but to me it just said "Johnny". The fact he even made the effort to attend given what had happened that week with Hunter, shows his class. I still think there was something siginificant to him about his outfit that year that we may never know......

Awwww, I loved that look, it was just a total surprise. It was the last time I got to watch the Oscars live.

I just wish I knew what I did with the video I recorded that night....way before I learned how to make clips. :rolleyes:
