I have no idea at the moment for Jess or JJ.. I'll have to ponder that one for awhile longer....

But for Maureen, gave it a little thought and kind of like the idea of Emma Thompson.. and the more I thought on it.. the more I liked it. Has anybody seen the previews for her new movie due out.. Nanny McPhee.. boy .. didnt recognize her at all... lol

I do like your choice of Ryan Gossling for JJ, deppraved, that could definitely be a good one.

I found the question tough...I had personalities in mind but they were not necessarily age appropriate. But here goes:

Jess: Erika Christensen (wanted Juliette Lewis)
JJ: Colin Farrell
Maureen: Renée Zellweger

I did like the mention of Cate Blanchett as Maureen too. I think she would also be excellen as might Nicole Kidman. Jess was tough, I see her as a Juliette Lewis or Angelina Jolie but either could play an 18 year old. I was very impressed with Erika Christensen in Traffic with Al Pacino. Her performance as the drug addicted daughter haunted me for some time. She was amazing. I consider Keira, too...I think she could pull it off too. Colin Farrell bothers me...and I would just about push him off the Tower Block myself...but he would make an excellent JJ...

Rachel Evan Wood was in "Thirteen" so she could do Jess easily, but now that you mention Erika Christiansen, she would be a good choice, Jae. It would also be nice to cast against type. Erika was a bit of a rebel in the Bangers Sisters, too.
