Title: Get your questions ready for Bryan Burrough
Description: Public Enemies' author

Karen - February 15, 2008 01:25 AM (GMT)
As y'all know, back in Dec., Bryan Burrough graciously agreed to speak with us about his book PUBLIC ENEMIES after the first of the year. Read our announcement here.

What you all don't know is that I had a family illness that sidetracked me during Dec and most all of January. So that put me behind and I was grateful that so many were willing to postpone our discussion to March as that bought me some extra time. I alerted Bryan about this and he's been most understanding about my time frame. So, now it looks like we are back on track!

Please send me your questions for Bryan using admin@johnnydeppreads.com or johnnydeppreads@aol.com

As always, as I did with our questions for Mark Salisbury, some questions may get combined, if several are similar in subject. And all that are sent in may not get answered.

Thanks so much for everyone's patience and understanding.

Hmmm...this is a tough one. The book is quite big.
Would you like us to keep the subject on Dillinger and/or how the book was made, etc? (As opposed to questions about Bonnie and Clyde).

Hmmmm since he's agreed to answer our questions about his book, I think we should keep it to the book.

Putting this back up on the radar and
sending a couple of questions your way.
I hope others add a few questions of their own too! B)

Finally finished the book last night. The only question I can think of at this point would be about myth that it really WASN'T Dillinger that was killed at the Biograph. I don't believe BB made any reference to that in the book.

I enjoyed the book emmensely and was surprised by so many comments included.

Can't wait to see what JD does with the movie...

Glad you enjoyed it Holly! I think it is a well written, well researched book and should make a fabulous film!
