I've scanned the Rolling Stone article and inside photos (Jack blocked out) for those who haven't been able to see it yet. Enjoy my nice big scan of that lovely photo. It came out pretty well. Here you go:

The magazine also included this open letter to MPAA from Peter Travers, the RS film critic. Note that there is some rough language involved but nice plugs for Johnny and ST.

Obviously these were scanned and posted for fan amusement and no copyright infringement intended.

THank you! I've been stalking our two town stores that carry Rolling Stone, and they're still selling the old issue a week past the date they should have been starting to sell THIS issue! Finally a store clerk at one of the shops has promised to phone me when it arrives. :unsure:

I looked for the issue at Wal*Mart last night, but they didn't have ANY RS issues. So, popped over to Barnes 'n' Noble, and they must've JUST put this issue out, as the magazines were still bundled in a rubber band on the shelf.

For Christmas '06, my sister got me a poster of a previous Depp RS cover.... I'm SO hoping they eventually make this one into a poster!!!

Thanks for the great scans FAN---it's a really nice article and some great pics!Yes, I read Travers' little memo when I bought the magazine---glad he's giving some support for ST---we'll find out what happens on Tues. when the Oscar noms are announced! :crossfingers

WOooo HOoooo! After two weeks of searching the shops,,, I FOUND it back where I started!
In Canada it's the Jan.24, 2008 issue. (Can't figure out what happened between the old issue ending Jan 10th, and this one starting Jan.24) But I'm just doing :snoopy :snoopy :snoopy dances!
