How do we order for this partcular Q&A Screening? I only see the 8:00 PM but no mention of the Q&A.

It's a package event, the Q&A/discussion takes place after the screening.

If I purchase seats for 8:00 PM will that ential the Q&A? Is there a special way to order?

YES it includes the discussion. Call the phone number listed or access their website.

Good question Yvonne. Usually for the director's series the Arclight will have a special page but since this appears to be last minute they probably didn't have time to get one up. Because the information is coming from the official MySpace page I'm lending it credence so go ahead and purchase tickets for the 8pm show tomorrow (Friday). What's the worst that could happen? We see ST again in the Dome? I'm willing to take that chance. :P

I'm dying here--can't go tomorrow night :( Hope Yvonne and others can go and report back!

I want to go but they are calling for stormy weather and I have noone to go with. So I may have to pass on this one. I will go this weekend of course if the weather is not too bad as it is showing up the street from my home. I would like to go though. We shall see............

This special AFI's Directors Screening presentation will immediately follow Friday's 8pm screening of SWEENEY TODD ® in the Dome at ArcLight Hollywood. Film critic Claudia Puig (USA Today) will moderate.

A question I've never heard an interviewer ask is whether he thinks it's important for the actor to actually feel the emotions the character is feeling, in order to give a convincing performance. As a director, I wonder if he looks for the actor to become immersed in the despairing murderous place that Sweeney goes to.

I remember Johnny's comments regarding The Libertine, that going to the place that character goes to was so intense and he was glad to play a character like Sparrow after that (which is not to minimize the value of playing The Libertine).
