I found this little ditty on FOX News. I'm sure that you are all familiar with the Dixie Chicks. Well, it seems that the lead singer has started a new controversy. It's called Money for Murders (or supposed murders in this case. She is saying that they are wrongly convicted of killing three children). Anyway, I read on down through the article but whose name should pop up as a supporter but JOHNNY DEPP. In fact, it's the first one listed.
Time will tell if its true or not.

Ya know, I could be wrong...but it seems I've read this before, or heard this story before quite some time ago, about celebs who were backing these guys and at that time, I saw Johnny's name mentioned too. It was quite a bit ago tho'. Interesting. Who knows.
Thanks a lot for that article. It definitely sounds interesting. As far as I am concerned I'm no supporter of the death penalty at all. No-one has been senteced to death for such a long time here in Switzerland and fortunately it will be absolutely impossible to ever re-introduce that punishment into our legal system. All the more it makes me sad, that it is still being used in other countries. And even more so it should make people think, because there actually are people who have been convicted wrongfully. And even if these people don't have to face death they will be spending years and years in prison, for something they never even did. It's like their life's been taken away from under their feet, without any reason at all. Basically they just were at the wrong place at the wrong time, that's all. So yeah, I'm glad that there are people fighting for the ones who were wrongfully accused and wouldn't be able to support their trial out of their own.
