Never know what Johnny might decide to do. He might surprise us. You know how he likes to try new things (for instance Sweeney Todd and singing on camera). I for one would like to see him act alongside Helen Mirren.

From what they describe, it doesn't sound like something he would do, but Nicci, I'm with you--Johnny, Helen Mirren and Ed Norton in a film I would love! :D

I would have thought that they (the actors) can all sit back and wait whilst the strike is on as they all have enough money to keep going. Unless ofcourse they are greedy.
Anyway, if there is something wrong with a script, that needs altering, Johnny wouldn't do it either without the alterations.

IMDb reported today that Russell Crowe is in negotiations to take this role.
It would've been interesting to see Johnny in a movie like this. It's not what one would call your typical Depp movie, but it'd just show everyone yet again that he can do anything, no matter the genre.
