I'm glad they gave it to Damon. He's a good buddy of Clooney and Pitt and was teased by them for never getting it. I don't find him sexy but I like him and he'll appreciate getting it. For People, he'll make a big deal of it in a sporting way which is good for them, too. It's amazing that Johnny ever got it and at least they have him back on the list. I can't believe People, in their write-up on Johnny, didn't mention his incredible talent and amazing good looks. Ah well, I guess what they wrote was pretty positive given who/what they are.

Bad and yet good decision. Bad decision because it wasn't JOHNNY but yet it was good that they gave it to Matt because they could have picked someone NOT worthy of the title like they have done in the past. Next to Johnny, Matt is my next favorite actor. Glad to hear that Johnny made the list though. Congrats Matt!!!

Much better it's Matt Damon rather than the (in my opinion) the asexual Justin Timberlake. Nothing remotely sexy about him.

Ah well, I just skimmed to the bottom of the People page and they had past #1 guys and I just kept clicking until 2003 came up and I sighed a lot.

BTW, CNN had a poll on their website about this and you could comment on so I gave them an ear-full. I told them that People had given George Clooney the honor twice so why not Johnny. Because hands down Johnny Depp is THE SEXIEST MAN ALIVE. No if's, and's or but's about it.

It's true he should have gotten no. 1. After all, he is very talented, intelligent, sweet, a genuinely nice guy, not to mention a absolutely beautiful face, deep, dark soulful almond eyes, heart-warming smile, fabulous hair, incredible cheekbones (bone structure.)
