JDR has been offered some passes for our members to attend a screening of DISNEY'S "ENCHANTED"

You must bring the printed pass with you and there is NO GUARANTEE that you will have a seat. These are always over booked to ensure a full house and just because you have an pass and your name is on the list is NO GUARANTEE. First come, first serve. You will have to stand in line, so get there plenty early.

There are several screening options, so please tell me the date and the location of the screening you'd like to attend. reply with your JDR member name and you and your one (1) guest's full name to: johnnydeppreads@yahoo.com no later than Sunday, Nov 11, by 8pm CST.

Right now I'm totally envying people who live in California... :)

I've entered a contest through the KC Star to get into a screening here; I'm crossing my fingers... I am SOOOO excited about this movie!

To anyone who goes to these screenings, please report back on it! I'd love to hear what ya'll think!

Karen........ I should start calling you my "fairy godmother"

We just saw the previews for this last night when we saw Bee Movie, and my daughter wants to see it so bad!

BTW....I did see the Sweeney Todd stand-up at the theater last night (the large one from the shoulders up with the razor) My goodness it's quite impressive and I wanted to take it so bad!

I've heard from one of our industry friends who's seen it and he said they took a few things out after being tested. That it's really cute!

YAAAY! I'm so excited! A local radio station has a free online VIP club where you do trivia and stuff to earn points that you can redeem for various things.... Today I got on and found that they'd put up a thing to get tickets to the Enchanted pre-screening here in KC on the 19th! So I redeemed some points for a two-person ticket!

I can't wait to go! I'm so excited abotu this movie!

Joy

PS: If you're reading this, Theresa, you might want to check out the KUDL.com website and sign up for the club; it's very possible that they could have Sweeney Todd pre-screening tickets next month.

First of all I want to thank Karen for giving me the opportunity to see this great movie! Enchanted is a delightful film following in the Disney tradition. There are throwbacks from some of the famous princess such as, The Little Mermaid, Snow White, and Cinderella. The movie is very sweet and funny.....and was enjoyed by my 8 year old daughter and myself. I highly recommend it!

On an interesting note: The evil queen's henchman is played by Timothy Spall, who is also the henchman for Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd :P

I just saw the trailer for ENCHANTED yesterday, and it's on my "to see" list. I went to IMBD to see who stars in it, and noticed our own Beadle Bamford (Timothy Spall) plays Nathaniel.
