Thanks for the link Karen, yes, that was interesting to read. It seems that some posts are conflicting. The one poster said that she definitely saw Johnny, but then someone else said they didn't see them at all and apparently was sitting in the same general area? The one gal seemed to give a pretty detailed description, so I'm going with the idea that they were there. :P

Someone on VP.net, the French fansite, mentioned that she thought the family was sitting toward the rear of the auditorium. She had a rather blurry photo (see below) from before the show which showed a section of seats apparently being saved. They would have been invisible from the front of the audience or from those sitting on the same side, especially when the lights went down, unless you had binoculars. That may have been why that one person disputed the reports of their presence. There was one person on VP.net who said she was sitting only a few meters from the family (including V's sister and parents).

Thanks to Kabe for the pic. You can see the 3 or so rows of empty seats at the top of the lower level on the side. Folks have said that there were bodyguards keeping people from sitting in them - presumably where the family sat.


Kabe also posted a great photo of the set which included the same Klimt-esque design as Johnny used on his portrait of Vanessa used on the album cover.

Really enjoyed reading the reviews...watched one of the video clips...you could barely hear Vanessa singing as the crowd was singing right along with her! :) I just hope that she'll do a live CD from this tour like she did for a couple of her other albums.

Thank you for the link ! It's a very cute report about the family. Johnny has had a long time in front of the spotlight. I'm glad they're having a good 'night out' and behind the scenes. :)

THanks FAN for the photos and info., yes, it would seem they would be toward the back of the level then. Sounds like everything going well for Johnny/Van lately. Glad Johnny can support her in her career.

Oh thanks a lot for sharing that! :) It's great that Johnny and the children as well as Vanessa's parents were there. I'm sure they all had a brilliant time. And I seriously can't wait to attend one of Vanessa's concerts soon, myself. :)

Thanks so much for posting that! I have really grown to reseect Vanessa tremendously. She seems to be quite a dynamic person. I ordered her latest CD, and I LOVE it.
