Thanks for the link Karen---just tore myself away from the STodd trailer and saw this link. Very nice comments by Medak about Johnny---just confirms what we always hear. It's a little disappointing he won't appear in Inamorata, but he has so much going on, guess he can't do everything.

Those were some wonderfully nice and right on the mark comments about Johnny he made. I'll be looking forward to this movie... Inamorata was a very good book, I enjoyed it. Of course, I'm disappointed that Johnny wont be in it.. but that is the way it goes sometimes, he's busy enough as it is.

I'm really glad that IN will be going ahead with something that doesn't invlove Johnny, the actor. It's a good way for it to establish it's credibility as something more than a vanity shingle. I think Brad Pitt's Plan B has done a brilliant job of being about good films and not about Brad Pitt. I'd love to see IN get to a place like that. This would be a great step in the right direction. Of course Plan B had Brad Grey involved in its formative period and that's a lot of the reason they went in the right direction. When IN succeeds, it will be all Johnny!

I agree totally, FAN!! IN is totally Johnny and he has said he WANTS to procuce. I too wish he could star in everything he has a hand in :thud but we know its physically not possible.
Speaking of Plan B...I watched 'Running With Scissors' last night (a Plan B production). Wonderful movie and fabulous cast!!!

Order it from your local library, Mary Kay----then you can use the money you saved and buy another ticket to see ST! :)

"Running With Scissors" didn't get very good reviews, but with the recommendations here I will get it at my library and watch it too! I'm curious about The Changeling also.
Inamorata was a good book, and will be a fun movie me thinks. I wonder who they'll cast in the lead role since Johnny won't be? The whole time I was reading the book I had Johnny envisioned in the part... Oh well, it will be a perfect project for IN. Isn't Sam Sharkar one of the heads of the company along with Johnny's sister? From what I've heard about Sam, which isn't much since he keeps such low profile, he sounds like an interesting, smart guy.

Yes I am anxious for INAMORATA to take shape too! Sam Sarkar is listed as the IN Development Director and Johnny's sister Christi Dembrowski is President .
