If I remember correctly Betty Sue had breast cancer a few years back when Johnny was filming "Blow" so this cause is probably close to his heart. I am curious also how much the brush went for. I totally forgot about the auction yesterday.

Day Two: Starting at $500. And it was going up by $50 increments! :thud It's only 100 dollars off the price of a couple of other really nice Johnny goods. This brush is getting a good price, comparatively speaking.

Update on the brush bidding----it's now at $799 with 3 days to go. Glad Johnny is helping raise so much money to fight breast cancer.

So just out of curiousity .. and since it is Breast Cancer Awareness month.. how many of you have scheduled your mammogram? I've got mine, ouch, set up for this Friday.

My mom and aunt are SURVIVORS !!! woohoo woohoo

Both are proactive. Got mammograms, and got proactive treatment.

My mom caught it PRE-LUMP, took it out, and it was pre-cancer. 5 years of meds later she's fine.

My aunt decided she didn't need hers anymore, got hers taken out. 5 years of meds later, she's fine too.

There have been so many advances in breast cancer treatments in recent years. Yes, it all starts with the mammogram for sure. Hopefully all women are being screened.........

Adding a personal note here, my Mom is a 4 1/2 year breast cancer survivor at 85. She fought a hard fight and we are thankful for every day we have with her.
