I'm curious as to why they pulled it. They had it listed on Amazon for about a month and now.... :upinsmoke . Should never promise if they can't produce. Of course, this is a BRAVO TV production so I think that they should be the ones answering some questions not Amazon.

This IS bad news... I wonder what in the world went wrong? I mean, the tape already exists (with or without the extended bits) and there are only two people on the screen (Johnny and What's-his-name) and one TV network involved in giving the green light for its release. Could it be they decided to renegotiate everything (ie, the price) once they found out the demand for said tape was going to be so high? Hmmmm...bummer-Ted! :(

well if you guys are up for a bit of optimism....cduniverse.com is showing a January 2009 release date. :blink:

The odd thing is, I did a bit of searching and the Canadian Amazon site has it listed for pre-order with a release date of November 27? :blink:

Is it possible that if a release date keeps getting pushed back that Amazon decides to automatically cancel all orders? Perhaps there is still hope! :crossfingers

I always thought it was a bit strange-er that Amazon was selling it and not Bravo directly. :blink: I wonder if Bravo themselves will be releasing one soon?

:banghead Well, that 's just maddingly unhelpful!! I rec'd the same email, too. I'm also wondering if that $9.99 price was a mistake and so supplierd str backing out supplying it. I've seen a date of 11/07 as a release, too, so who knows at this point! I'm sure someone is looking to maximize their profits. I'm sure if it is finally released, it won't be for $9.99!

Yea, that has struck me as odd too. I mean it's not like I've seen Inside the Actor's Studio episodes on Best Buys shelves before. Because I haven't but...one day I typed Johnny's name in on their site and there was this DVD. It was weird but I preordered.

Maybe this is how this all got started.. some word within the Bravo network about maybe doing one and word of that got out and others jumped on the bandwagon... <<< now all of that is speculation on my part. It would only make sense to me that Bravo would be the first..

I could see that with Yahoo actually but not Best Buy. They are a retail store that has a website and I don't see them putting something out there that is based on speculation.

Whatever happened, according to amazon several emails ago, they told me that the delay was caused by a higher demand than was expected. I still think it's all to do with money, too. I jumped at the chance to get this DVD for $9.99 which is a steal. I'm sure whether BRAVO or someone releases this, it will cost more. I still have the 60 minute version recorded so I can wait.

I was sad t oreceive a note of cancellation from Amazon as well. I was looking forward to the footage I had not seen. Well maybe BRAVO will put it out themselves. I am sure they had many preorders but are just unable to get a copy.
