According to the "Our Bollywood" blog, Johnny and Mr Bachchan will be doing a song and dance number in Shantaram.

The site tends to report a lot of gossip and rumours, so it might be no more than that, but we're talking about the Indian film industry, so it's not exactly unlikely...
Also Mr Bachchan is quoted as saying he's been asked to block his dates from January 2008 to May 2008, so I guess the filming dates have been moved (didn't previous articles say November 2007?). And they're saying that most of the film will be made in the studio rather than on location.

Thanks for wanting to be sure that we've seen that. There have been a couple of news items over the last few days and they all seem to imply that Shantaram would being filming after Christmas and go into May.

After saying so many times that he thinks he can't easily dance, or doesn't feel comfortable dancing, it would be hilarious if Johnny winds up dancing in Shantaram. There's so much in the book, it will be amazing to see what they are able to keep in, and what has to be cut.

Well, song and dance number, could be a matter of speaking = movie.

I thought the idea of Johnny grooving with the sexy-masala-dancing girls was pretty yummy, but to see him dancing with Mr. "Big" Bachchan would be downright delicious, yaar!! :thumbsup

I just thought of a great scene for an item number focusing on Johnny :D They should do the scene when he's dancing for the horse to make it like him - I'd so like to see that lol Only problem is I'm not sure how they're going to put Mr Bachchan into that ;)
