On tonight's Entertainment Tonight, they showed a pic of Johnny and announced his involvement with "Dark Shadows." During the Comic Con special on the G4 channel, at around 1 hr & 22 minutes, they, too, showed a pic of Johnny and talked about "Dark Shadows." woohoo

My sis told me that they can't keep the library's copies of the show on the shelves so I may just have to buy one of the DVD's so I can watch this. All this talk is really getting my interest up in this show.

I don't know who owns the DVD rights, but this was in Variety, by the wording I am assuming Depp/IN own or at least control the rights for a movie.

Any updates on Johnny and Dark Shadows? I'm unable to find any. I'm really hoping he does this. However, his schedule seems to be quite full at the moment with PE and then Shantaram.

Growing up I made a point to be in front of the TV at 4p.m., M-F so I could watch Barnabas. And now the possibility of having Johnny do Dark Shadows is absolutely thrilling!!

On Tim Burton Collective News it says Burton may direct Dark Shadows, this would make another fantastic movie from Johnny and Burton. I hope Burton does do it.

The combo pair of these two are amazing they work so well together and know each so well how best to bring Dark Shadows into the light.

I for one am willing to wait for them both to work on this film and to have another movie put out by Tim and Johnny.
