Thanks for the heads up and the links. Is it possible this interview with Johnny has been around for awhile? It seems I've heard/seen this somewhere, maybe on Youtube? Would like to check out the video.

I had this on pre-order from Amazon and got notified that it shipped today. It is a birthday gift for my husband - we are both big Allen Ginsburg fans - but I knew there was at least some Johnny content, so I am most interested in what he has to say. I think this is like a director's cut of the 1994 documentary, released to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of his most famous poem Howl. There is a lot of new extra material, but I don't know if the Johnny material specifically is new or not. I'm really looking forward to it, though.

Johnny seems to comfortable and 'at home' with these authors. He doesn't show the need for passion , or rather, that he's found it and his search is finished, if you know what I mean.
