Yes he is!
And a really sweet Rupert film is "Mrs Palfrey at the Claremont" with Joan Plowright. Another "Libertine" connection with this film is the woman who plays his mother, Claire Higgins, who played Molly Lescombe in "The Libertine" she was the stage director who ends up feeding lines when Alcock.......... declines...LOLOL

Here's a little 'six degrees of separation' story ~
My good friend's daughter is married to the man who produced "Mrs Palfrey at the Claremont". It was his first 'big' turn as producer and naturally I went to see it. I thought it was great, and that Rupert Friend was an adorable newcomer. It wasn't until later that I learned he was Kiera's BF. And it wasn't until today - right here, right on this thread - that I realized he was the (other) adorable guy in "The Libertine". I guess he's not such an unknown newcomer afterall! :)

WOO HOOOO! I adore "Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont", I listened to the commentary and learned that it was a very low budget film and that Joan Plowright wore her own clothes!! Rupert offered a very subtle and reserved performance! He's a cutie!
