Press screenings for POTC 3 are this Monday and Tuesday in the LA area. Press screenings for the rest of the country will be early next week (if they are not in the LA area for the press junket). The press junket is Monday - Wednesday in LA. (May 14- 16 )

This consists of mainly TV coverage only and a few print media, no press conference. Talent listed is Gore Verbinski, Jerry Buckheimer, Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Geoffrey Rush and Chow Young Fat.

I'm so bummed....I just had lunch and it turns out that the press junket is there today....if I wasn't with my boss, I might have tried to stay and catch a glimpse of the cast members! :(

I see over on the Zone that SnorkletsMom was at the El Capitan yesterday. There was a private event with a lot of limos. I bet that's where the press event was being held B)

Reports from the first day of the press junket showed no Johnny. All cast members do not have to be there all three days since there is no press conference. We are waiting for more reports from day 2 and day 3 (today).

Johnny was not present at any of the 3 days of press junket, since he had already done so many interviews and TV press from the UK the week before. He is on the list to be present at the premiere tomorrow!! ;)

Naomie Harris was there along with the others mentioned before.

Thanks for the update Karen, wish there could have been a sighting, however, with all the press he already has done, finishing ST and now the premiere, it's understandable.
