Jeff's company is working with New Line... who is working with a few sponsors on a country wide advance screening of Keira Knightly's upcoming movie Domino. He is extending this invite to us at JDR to help promote the film.
Our film club does not officially start til Oct but this is an early surprise!!!
They are having all screenings on this one day and we are helping the studio with this. The DOMINO screening is this Thursday, September 29th.
If you live in any these cities and are interesting in attending please contact me at johnnydeppreads@aol.com by tomorrow night, Tuesday, Sept 27 by 10 p.m. CDT. Include in that email: your full name, your 1 guest's full name, the city of the screening you wish to attend, and your JDR member name. Please include all the info I've asked for, I will not be able to email you back to ask for more info from you as I need to have that info to Jeff at that time. If you leave anything out, I won't forward your request. Savvy? Put DOMINO in your subject line.

THE HISTORY OF VIOLENCE SCREENING AND Q&A on 10/01/05 at 01:32 PM

I know that this is not a pre-release screening, but it IS a cool screening with a Q&A with cast and filmmakers.
Our first official screening is Oct 7th in Beverly Hills.
This will be a screening of the movie History of Violence. The movie will be followed by a Q&A with the cast and filmmakers. Exactly who is coming has yet to be announced but the movie stars Viggo Mortensen, MARIA BELLO, Ed Harris and William Hurt. (Marie Bello co starred with JD in SECRET WINDOW.)
The movie will start at 7:30pm. This movie is rated R so everyone signing up for this screening must be 18 and over. You are allowed to bring a guest to this, but each person must have their own ticket so we will need your name and your guest's full name.

There will be a private screening of The Libertine in Los Angeles early next month.

At this time Jeff is unsure of how many tickets he will be able to obtain. This will be one ticket per registered JDR member only to assure as many JDR members we can get in the screening. I've just heard from Jeff that he has gotten a hold of a few tickets for the Friday screening of the movie THE LIBERTINE. The movie only. There are no tickets for the tribute, savvy.
We may have to do a pull to see who they go to and we are limiting it to 1 ticket per person only, and please don't ask in on the draw if you already have one.

There is a screening in NY for Deep Sea 3D coming up next week. Is there anyone in Manhattan who would be interested in a weekday advance screening?

Orlando Bloom's HAVEN screening

JDR is proud to announce that with the return of the fall season we are also returning to a JDR Member favorite...advance movie screenings!
This screening of Orlando's new film HAVEN will be next Thursday, Sept 14, in the LA area. We have a few spots available to registered JDR members only. This is a screening and not the premiere. There is no Q&A after this screening. Seating is limited and on a first come-first, serve-basis even if you are on the list. There are no seats held and they tend to over book these screenings to assure a full house.
If you are interested in attending this advance screening (no Q&A) please email your JDR member name and your full name to johnnydeppreads@aol.com no later than tomorrow, Friday, Sept 08 by 7am CDT. Please put HAVEN in the subject line, this will be for you and a guest, we don't need the guest's name. If we get more requests than we have been allowed, I will pull names for the passes. Space is limited, so be sure you are able to attend.

Most all of these screenings are taking place at a studio in the LA area and you can bring up to 4 guests with you as they are family and kid oriented. Dates below:
