Description: The Glass Books of the Dream Eaters

This novel is by Gordon Dahlquist. I believe that Johnny's production company has the right or is working to obtain the rights. As the inside cover states, Return to a time when a book contained the most intriguing adventures imaginable.

This is Gordon Dalquist's first novel. I hope this can be added at a future date for discussion. It is is beautifully written. All the elements are there that makes a book a must read. It brings to mind Agatha Christie type mystery, Victorian time but a modern read. I just started reading it about a week ago. I would have had it completely read by now but sick children are a calling. Anyway, just thought I would put this book into some of your minds as a future read. Maybe a possibe Q/A with the author which would be really interesting considering this is his first published novel. If this book has already been read and discussed, I am sorry. I didn't see it listed anywhere.

This sounds interesting, can you please post where you read or heard that this book had been or is about to be optioned by Johnny and/or his production company? I can't seem to find anything about this being aligned with Johnny or IN other than on another fan site, and they don't list their source. We are always happy to consider books with a proven connection to JD. Thanks.

Hope that you will you be joining in the REX MUNDI discussion.

Karen, I will try to find the site where I located this book. It was on a Johnny Depp. I just need to find it. I will post back when I have got the information you need.

Success...Karen the site is www.DeppImpact.com and it is listed under Infinitum Nihil.[U]

Yes I know that. In my reply last night, you will see that I said the ONLY reference out there to Johnny being aligned with this book is on another fansite.

They don't name their source of info. They don't say where they got the info. I searched and that one lone reference was the only one anywhere that I could find. There is nothing on the author's site about it, nothing on his publisher's site, nothing in any review anywhere. Nothing. Nothing in the trade papers about IN optioning it. So if it's been optioned I'd be interested in knowing where and when it was announced (other than another fan site) as it does sound interesting. BUT until I know where that info came from originally and can authenticate it then there's no point in adding it as a Johnny related book. Thanks! ;)
